The Fall 2023 Physics Recognition Ceremony will be held on Thursday, December 21, 2023 at 1:00 pm in Duane Physics, Room G1B20. Graduating students in physics and engineering physics are invited to attend and should RSVP by December 1, 2023.
Our recognition ceremony is a special, personalized event where graduating students are recognized by name and receive their diploma cover. Doctoral candidates should wear caps and gowns (if available) and will be hooded by their advisor or a departmental representative during the ceremony. The dress code for all other graduates is academic regalia (cap and gown) or business casual attire. For information on regalia, please visit the university's commencement page. A reception with light appetizers will be held immediately following the ceremony, in the Duane Physics lobby.
